Erin E. Barry is VP of Government Affairs for Merit Medical Systems headquartered in South Jordan, Utah. As head of Government Affairs, Ms. Barry oversees all Company local, state, and federal government relations in jurisdictions in which Merit has manufacturing facilities or sales offices. These include the states of Utah, Texas, Virginia, California, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts and the countries of The US, Ireland, The Netherlands, France, Singapore, Australia, and Mexico.

Andrew Hemmert

Dr. Andrew Hemmert is the Senior Vice President of Molecular Research and Development for bioMérieux. Based in Salt Lake City, Andrew leads global teams focused on the creation of easy-to-use, rapid, and comprehensive molecular diagnostics. bioMérieux innovations to infectious disease diagnostics from these teams include the largest available menu for respiratory, blood stream, gastrointestinal, central nervous system, and skeletal infections for hospital customers.

Mark Paul

Mark H. Paul is President of the Neurovascular division at Stryker. Stryker Neurovascular is a pioneer in the development of technologies for the treatment of Hemorrhagic and Ischemic Stroke. For the past 14 years, Mark has led one of the largest neurosurgery organizations in the world resulting in significant revenue growth and team skillset expansion. Mark has full P&L responsibilities for all operational functions internally along with sales and marketing teams in more than 65 countries around the world. Mark is a 30-year veteran of the Less Invasive Medical Device industry.

Jared Bauer

Jared is CEO of Seek Labs, a diagnostics and pharmaceutical development company, he co-founded in 2016. Bauer has focused his professional endeavors on the medtech industry and is passionate about healthcare innovation. In 2012, he acquired BurnFree Products, and led the team to expand BurnFree distribution to 58 countries before a successful exit in 2016. 

David Bearss, PhD

Halia Therapeutics

David is an experienced entrepreneur and drug developer with 20+ years’ experience in the academic and industry settings. He is an expert in small molecule drug development and in the use of genetic model systems in drug discovery. David has deep experience in translational research focused on drug development and the use of genetic markers to predict drug sensitivity. Dave has discovered 16 compounds that have had INDs accepted and moved into clinical development and has founded eight biotech companies.

Jonathan Carter

Jonathan is a results-oriented operations management professional with over 20 years of diverse, servant leadership experience at large world-class companies. He has an outstanding record of achievement through innovation, building cross-functional teams, and managing the execution of projects. Jonathan has significant capabilities in Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen, and change leadership driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Jim Fitzgerald

Jim joined ATL Technology as CEO in March 2025. 15+ years of experience of executive leadership experience at sponsor-owned medical device and packaging companies, with an emphasis on high-quality customer manufacturing solutions. Previous roles include CEO and senior leadership positions at Flexan, MRP Solutions, ITxM, Vesta and Cardinal Health. Jim has a Bachelor’s in Marketing from the University of Notre Dame and a Master’s in Finance and Strategy from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Tracy George

Dr. George is an academic physician and scientist, serving as chief scientific officer and president of innovation at ARUP Laboratories, the largest nonprofit clinical reference laboratory in the United States. ARUP Laboratories is an enterprise of the University of Utah School of Medicine where Dr. George is a professor in the department of pathology. She completed her medical degree and pathology residency at the University of California San Francisco with hematopathology and surgical pathology fellowships at Stanford University.

Myles Greenberg

Dr. Greenberg has more than 25 years of experience in growing healthcare, medical technology and life sciences firms as an entrepreneur, operating executive, board member, clinician and investor. Myles currently serves as President and CEO of InCarda Therapeutics. InCarda is developing developing innovative medicines for pharmacologic cardioversion of atrial fibrillation.

Lincoln Howell is the CEO of Amplēo, supporting the Amplēo operations and strategy behind its world-class network of consultants and executives. Before becoming the CEO in 2022, Lincoln served in C-suite and senior leadership positions for venture capital, private equity, and global Fortune 500 companies. 

Jeff Lyon

Jeff is the Region VP of Strategy and Business Development for the Canyons Region (UT & ID) of Intermountain Health. In this role, Jeff guides the formulation of strategy, drives implementation of strategic initiatives, and leads the strategic planning process. Prior to joining Intermountain in 2018, Jeff was Regional General Manager at DoorDash, responsible for operations, growth, and strategy in southern California and southwest US. Prior to DoorDash, Jeff was a Captain in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Randy Rasmussen

Dr. Rasmussen co-founded BioFire Diagnostics (then Idaho Technology) in 1990. He served as COO from 1999 to 2008 and President from 2008 to 2014. Dr. Rasmussen became CEO of BioFire Diagnostics after the acquisition of BioFire by BioMérieux in January of 2014. Dr. Rasmussen was previously with ARUP Laboratories as Medical Director from 1996 to 1999. He also held positions at the University of Utah Cardiology Department and Cardiovascular Pharmacology and Engineering Consultants.

Jacey Skinner

Ballard Spahr, LLP

Jacey Skinner is a government relations lawyer who has held a variety of senior leadership roles in Utah state government. Before joining Ballard Spahr, she served as General Counsel to Governor Gary R. Herbert. In that role, she negotiated legislation, oversaw the Governor’s legislative review and bill signing, coordinated litigation with the Attorney General’s Office, advised the Governor, his cabinet, and the Lieutenant Governor on legal, policy, and ethical issues, and oversaw Gov. Herbert’s judicial appointment process.
